The Writer's Group Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Florida State University

Members meet the second Monday of each month all year to share individual writings. We are poets, autobiographers, memoirists, fiction and non-fiction writers. Critiquing is spontaneous. Participants often share their process or moment that inspired the writing. Material length is limited to allow time, within a two-hour meeting, for each presentation.

When OLLI is in session, we meet in the museum library at the Claude Pepper Center. The remaining monthly meetings are held offsite.

Scribes refining their skills and searching for a writing voice are welcome. This is the point at which most of our members started. We enjoy and value one another’s company and input. That is why we meet all year.
